【Braised Chicken wings in oyster sauce】

I made this dish for dinner, both my son and my husband loved it so much. So I am sharing this easy recipe with you, you need to try it.

Serves: 8 servings

Ingredients:

1) Chicken drumettes or mid-section wings 1150g;
2) 1 tbsp olive oil, 3-4 slices of fresh ginger, 1 green onion rinsed and chopped into 2 inches long pieces, 1 tbsp minced garlic;
3) 1.5 tbsp cooking wine, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp premium dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster oil, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 cup water;
4) 1 tsp sesame oil.

Directions:

1: Wash and pat dry chicken wings. Non-stick sauté pan on high heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil and chicken wings (Picture 1). Brown the chicken wings about 3-4 minutes. Add freshly sliced ginger, chopped green onion pieces and mince garlic (Picture 2), stir and cook for another minute.
2: Add cooking wine and all other ingredients of Ingredient 3), stir and bring to boil (picture 3). Cover with lid and reduce to medium-low heat, simmer for 15-18 minutes, stir occasionally.

3: Remove the lid and increase to medium-high to reduce the sauce to about 1/4. Add 1 tsp sesame oil, stir well.
4: Transfer cooked chicken wings into a serving plate and serve immediately.
